This office's programs and services are specifically designed to solve the problems county residents face. It's a service of Oklahoma State University and functions as part of a nationwide network of university extension offices dedicated to providing trustworthy public education and service.

Sam Fuhlendorf, Regents professor and Groendyke Chair in wildlife conservation in the Oklahoma State University Department of Natural Resource Ecology & Management, received the Eminent Faculty Award. The award is given each year to a faculty member who has made sustained contributions to scholarly/creative activity, teaching and service, bringing honor and recognition to the university.
