Insect Adventure
OSU Extension’s Insect Adventure is the only live petting zoo of its kind in the state. Discover the thrill of holding a foot-long millipede or petting a tarantula while also learning how insects play an important role in Earth's cycles and how they are important to humans. Insects are the biodiversity and make up 85% of all animals.
The Insect Adventure is adaptable to nearly any situation. Indoor events can be large or small, lasting an hour or a day, with something for all age groups. It's science made fun with an array of engaging entomology presentations and activities. Book your opportunity to visit the Insect Adventure facility on OSU’s Stillwater campus or to schedule bringing OSU Extension’s live bug zoo to your school or event. Contact our Director to check availability and then complete this form for scheduling.

Don’t leave home. We bring the adventure to your school or event. Off-campus presentations cost $500, but it’s an enjoyable, educational experience that most find to be truly memorable.
