About Me
My mission is to teach adults, teens and youth life skills so they can have a healthy life, a healthy home, a healthy family, and success in life. As a young 4H-er I wanted to grow up and be a county Extension agent just like my county Extension agent, Mrs. Joy Jones, who was a kind and positive role model for me as a young girl. Now, having served as a county Extension educator since 2001, it’s my hope to have been a positive role model and have big impact on the many young people I have reached. Many of the youth I have worked with through the years are now young adults. I love meeting their families and seeing them thrive.
I work in my childhood home county of Bryan County, and Mrs. Jones is one of my Oklahoma Home and Community Education members. Serving as an educator also allows me to spend time with my family members. Both my parents and my niece Mattie are OHCE members.
