2021 State Project
Oklahoma has some of the worst food insecurity statistics in the nation. Food insecurity is defined by the USDA as a household level economic and social condition of limited or uncertain access to adequate food. During the pandemic, the number of children in Oklahoma facing food insecurity has risen. Our proposed goal is to raise awareness and reduce the food insecurity crisis in our own communities.
