VIEW ALLOSU researchers are studying using legume cover crops in the summer to fix nitrogen in the soil to minimize the amount of fertilizer producers need to put down for planting wheat in the fall. They are using chambers to capture and measure carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide emissions in wheat fields.
The Oklahoma Home and Community Education organization involves 3,000 members statewide and strengthens communities through service and lifelong learning.
Jayson Lusk, vice president and dean of OSU Agriculture contributes to a research study on how taking a GLP-1 medication can reduce the intake of certain types of foods.
