Biography

Ally Fuqua serves as the Oklahoma State University Extension family and consumer sciences/4-H Youth Development educator for Blaine County. In this role, she helps plan, conduct and evaluate educational programs that strengthen families and communities. Her work focuses on areas such as food safety and preservation, health and wellness, family and child development, financial literacy and community health initiatives.

She also helps coordinate 4-H programs and events that provide youth with opportunities to develop important life skills through hands-on learning. She works closely with local schools, civic organizations, health departments and nonprofit groups to expand educational opportunities and support community partnerships. In addition, she assists with program documentation and communication efforts, including promoting Extension programs and outreach through social media.

Originally from Canton, Oklahoma, Ally has spent most of her life in Blaine County and appreciates the close-knit communities that make the area special. She graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in May 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in health science. She is passionate about human development, nutrition and health, and strives to empower community members with up-to-date, research-based resources and programs.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, hiking and reading. Ally values the opportunity to serve her community through OSU Extension and believes strongly in the positive impact of Extension programs.
