About Me

I am here to make a difference to the individuals in our county by delivering updated and pertinent information and to shine a positive light on the agricultural community. Our county depends immensely on agricultural commodities, and I want to be part of furthering the education of our community. Education is key.  
 
With the resources available through OSU Extension, we can offer education and touch many lives. In so doing, we also promote our local producers by delivering research-based information. A county educator may be the only source of information for some individuals, so it is crucial for us to engage with the community. For example, 4-H is a very important program in our area. For our youth, 4-H opens doors to opportunities they may not have had access to otherwise. Our youth are our future and the programs Extensions has to offer will help build a foundation for them to start down a career path.   
  
My personal goal for Extension is to represent all, both young and old. I am passionate about working with different groups and finding solutions to meet their specific needs. I am doing this by broadening program areas for our county youth, as well as offering opportunities to those unaware of what is available through 4-H. I also will continue to work on programs to promote agriculture and youth together.
