Forage Testing

The Soil, Water and Forage Analytical Laboratory (SWFAL) was established by the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service to provide soil testing, plant, animal waste and water analyses for the State of Oklahoma and anyone who needs agricultural testing services. Each year over 60,000 various samples are submitted for analyses by thousands of farmers, ranchers, homeowners, consultants, governmental agencies and researchers.

Master Cattleman

The objective of this program is to enhance the profitability of beef operations and the quality of life of beef cattle producers by equipping them with vital information on all aspects of beef production, business planning, risk management and marketing. 

Meat Science

The teaching, research and extension Meat Science program brings cohesion to all facets of industry by bringing dreams to life for the students, as well as, the meat industry. 

OK Beef Quality Assurance

A nationally coordinated, state implemented program that provides systematic information to U.S. beef producers and beef consumers of how common sense husbandry techniques can be coupled with accepted scientific knowledge to raise cattle under optimum management and environmental conditions.

OK Quality Beef Network

OQBN is a network of beef producers, educators, veterinarians, and industry professionals committed to increasing producers' access to value added marketing opportunities and improving the quality of cattle produced in Oklahoma.

OSU Cowculator

The OSU Cowculator is a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet designed to assist cattlemen in making informed decisions associated with beef cow nutrition.
