CDL Theory Training | Ohio Department of Transportation

The County Training Program (CTP) has created a partnership with Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) to provide our counties with the two components (Theory and Behind-the-Wheel) of CDL training. LTAP is using the Ohio Department of Transportation for the CDL Theory. This is a free online training to obtain the certificate of completion necessary to take to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and prove the theory portion is complete and be allowed to take the permit written test.

Local Technical Assistance Program | Oklahoma State University

This program provides more information on how to set up ELDT (entry-level driver training) behind-the-wheel training for your organization. Each county (or in partnership with neighboring county) will need to attend a train-the-trainer class and be authorized to administer the behind-the-wheel (BTW) evaluation. This is usually the safety director.
