How the Study Works
If you qualify (determined by your answers on a set of questions in the Study Pre-Screening Survey), you will be directed to our pre-class survey where you will answer questions about yourself, your child, your co-parenting relationship, and your divorce or separation. This normally takes people about 30 minutes.
Then, you will be randomly assigned to one of the following three co-parenting education groups. No one can choose which of the three groups they prefer to attend. Once you are assigned to a group, you will not be permitted to change groups. The group assignment is made through a computer and is completely random.
Group 1
Group One will attend our in-person Co-parenting for Resilience class on the OSU-OKC campus located at 900 N Portland Ave. If you are assigned to this group, you will be directed to a calendar page where you can sign up for one of several in-person classes offered. The class lasts approximately 4 hours and you will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the class that you can give to your judge as proof of completion.

Group 2
Group Two will participate in our online Co-Parenting for Resilience class. The class will take approximately 4 hours to complete. You can complete the class in one sitting, or start, stop, and re-start. You have up to 60 days from the day you register to finish the class. Online class participants will view videos and complete required learning exercises throughout the class. Parents who complete the course will be able to print off a certificate of completion that they can provide to their judge as proof of completion.
Group 3
Group Three will be assigned to read "Between Two Homes: A Coparenting Handbook" by Bradley S. Craig and pass an online quiz with a score of at least a 70%. We will send you a free copy of the book and you will have 60 days to finish the book and pass the online quiz. You can take the quiz as many times as you wish to reach the 70% score and receive your certificate of completion to provide to your judge as proof of completion.
All three groups meet the 4-hour state mandated co-parenting course requirements for your court case and Oklahoma County Judges have agreed to accept certificates of completion from all three groups.
