About Me
Many wonderful people reach out to our office for information. It’s always an adventure because you never know what kind of challenge will walk through the door next – either a unique plant or insect to identify, a weather event to cope with, or a producer with questions.
The concept of ‘one day at a time’ has always been important to me. Each day is new to make the most of in whatever I am doing, serving to the best of my ability. As the end of my email signature says: Live Life in Full Bloom!
My Extension career began after years of working in the horticulture industry. The opportunity came open in 2018 to join the OSU Extension team in my field, in an educator role. Being able to teach about plants, how they grow, and where they grow best in our environment is a blessing. Offering choices of how to manage an issue helps our clients make better decisions for what they are trying to accomplish. I hold a bachelor of science degree in agriculture, with a horticulture major, from Oklahoma State University.
