Due to the disproportion disparities facing the African American community in the areas of wealth, health, and education this initiative aims to empower individuals across all age groups by fostering engagement and establishing robust accountability structures. By leveraging this approach, the program seeks to illuminate the latent potential within individuals, nurturing a realization of their capacity to effectuate positive change and fortify the very fabric of their communities.

This series of workshops offered by Dr. Cline help leaders identify tough adaptive challenges in their organizations and equip them with the leadership behaviors needed to lead adaptive change and thrive. 


Legacy & Resilience: African American Agriculture

Dr. Brown's program endeavors to shed light on the often overlooked and significant contributions of African Americans in the United States' agricultural landscape. It aims to amplify their narratives, showcasing the historical and contemporary facets of African American involvement in agriculture. This initiative delves into the current state of black farming, highlighting challenges, opportunities for growth, and avenues for support. Dr. Brown also illuminates the disparities with the African American community that could be supported through agricultural programming. By offering a platform to elevate voices and perspectives, this program seeks to engage audiences of all ages in understanding and appreciating the rich heritage and ongoing impact of African American experiences within the agricultural sphere.


Minority Youth Agricultural Career Exploration

The program spearheaded by Dr. Brown endeavors to address the limited engagement of diverse youth in agriculturally related fields, primarily stemming from their restricted exposure to the breadth of opportunities within this domain. Dr. Brown's initiative offers an exploratory perspective aimed at enlightening youth about the diverse spectrum of agricultural facets and potential career avenues. By providing insights into the multifaceted landscape of agriculture and highlighting compelling reasons for considering a career in this field, the program aims to inspire and attract a more diverse cohort of youth towards pursuing agricultural professions.


Rural Youth Civic Leadership Curriculum

Civic leadership is vital to the sustainability of rural, farm-dependent communities in Oklahoma. This online curriculum aims to train rural youth in civic leadership so they are prepared to positively influence change and decisions in their community. The curriculum also includes a mentorship component, which provides resources for adult mentors to strengthen youth-adult partnerships in the community. The development of this curriculum was funded through the Rural Renewal Initiative Seed Grant program and is being piloted in a Southwest Oklahoma community.

Through collaborative synergy, this program aids outreach and impact, facilitating a more profound engagement with individuals sharing a common drive for achieving parallel objectives. Such concerted efforts aspire to leverage collective strengths, expand networks, and enhance the overall effectiveness in furtherance of mutual goals.


Tangible Tools for Working With Others

Tangible Tools for Working with Others is a one-day conference designed by Drs. Brown, Cline and King focusing on social media best practices, tactics to strengthen your brand, learner-centered teaching approaches, strategies for building quality relationships in the workplace and more.


Working Together to Solve Problems

As an accredited KAI practitioner, Dr. Cline can assist with group training or individual development to better understanding how people approach problem solving and creativity differently. Rooted in Kirton’s Adaption-Innovation theory, the KAI inventory and related trainings help organizations and groups improve the management of diversity, group cohesion, leadership techniques, problem solving, and team building.
