• We talk with Joe Caughlin in Kay County to see how harvest is going on his family farm and for the Oklahoma Foundation Seed Stocks producers he works with.
• Wes Lee, OSU Extension Mesonet agricultural coordinator, explains various Mesonet agricultural tools available to producers.
• Mark Johnson, OSU Extension beef cattle breeding specialist, discusses management strategies cattle producers can take to limit carbon emissions.
• Kim Anderson, OSU Extension grain marketing specialist, looks at the latest WASDE report.
• Kris Hiney, OSU Extension equine specialist, has information on how to limit heat stress in horses.
• SUNUP travels to Kingfisher County to meet a farming family using all their resources to beat the rain and get their wheat in the bin. We also hear from Bryan Kennedy, OSU Extension county ag educator, about how harvest is going in the area.
• We wrap up the show with highlights from the Kisling family harvest in Alfalfa County, where OSU President Kayse Shrum and OSU Agriculture Vice President Jayson Lusk and others from OSU were welcomed earlier this week.
