About Me
My career with OSU Extension began after a conversation with a friend, who asked if I would be interested in being an agricultural educator. I have always had a passion to help others, believe we never get too old to learn and consider myself a champion of agriculture. I develop programs around the stated interests of our county agricultural producers, the origins of which are often as much from conversations with them at the local coffee shop or from just bumping into them around town at official county events. I am a Cowboy alumnus, having earned by bachelor’s degree in animal science from OSU in 1991. While in school, I was a member of one of the university’s national champion livestock judging teams. After graduating, I worked in the livestock business before joining the Hennessey public school system, where I taught agricultural education for 20 years while raising livestock on the side. Then came the day I had that conversation with my friend and began my journey with OSU Extension.
