Spend the evening learning about the different faults in wine, what causes them, and how these faults may be remedied. This workshop will include an in-depth lecture over each fault as well as a spiked glass of wine containing each fault.

Registration Information

Join us January 19th, 2024 for a workshop on Wine Faults, led by Aaron Essary, Assistant Extension Specialist, and Madi Franklin, Viticulture and Enology Coordinator. The workshop will be held at Oklahoma State University in the Nancy Davis Randolph Building, Wayne Hirst Beverage room.

General Information

The "Wine Faults" workshop will be held January 19th, 2024 from at 4pm – 8pm with a reception & wine tasting to follow*.

  • Tartrates/Undissolved Tannins
  • Acetaldehyde 
  • Volatile Acidity
  • Brettanomyces
