Medication are produce to help diagnose, cure, treat, and or prevent disease. However, medicines if not properly dispose can lead to public and environmental health risk. If your medication are no longer needed, they should be dispose of promptly. Expired, unwanted, or unused medicines from homes should be removed as quickly as possible to help reduce the chance of accidental intake or intentional misuse and also to prevent drug from entering the environment. Medicines can be disposed of through drug take back programs. It is significant to take advantage of those programs in your area or nearby surroundings. The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN) have drop-off locations for safe disposal of prescription drugs. Check out their website for take-back locations in your area.
