Quercus shumardii
Shumard Oak is an Oklahoma native plant that can grow to be over 100’ tall in the
wild, but reaches 40 – 60’ in the landscape. Shumard Oak produces healthy green foliage
even on alkaline soils, tolerates summer heat and drought, and transplants easily.
