Ilex decidua
Deciduous Holly is a native plant typically grown as a multi-stemmed shrub. It tolerates
heat, drought, and poorly drained soils and reaches a height of 8 to 12 feet. Female
cultivars of Deciduous Holly have beautiful red to yellow berries that remain on the
plant through the winter. Male and female cultivars should be planted for fruit production.
