This strawberry butter is a great addition to any meal or snack for a twist of fruit! 



  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter or margarine, softened and cut into 1-inch pieces

  • 8 ounces fat-free cream cheese, softened and cut into 1-inch pieces

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 3/4 cup frozen strawberries, unsweetened, well drained


  1. In a food processor, position multi-purpose blade in bottom of work bowl. Add butter and cream cheese. Pulse 5 to 6 times. Stop and scrape bowl.
  2. Add powdered sugar and process until mixture is smooth. Stop and scrape bowl.
  3. Add vanilla and strawberries; pulse until blended.

Yield: 2-1/2 cups (40 servings)
