Spring Greens, Orange and Almond Salad
Give this recipe a try to add some fruit and nuts to your salad for a refreshing twist!
Ingredients
Salad
- 4 cups mixed spring greens
- 1 orange, peeled, sectioned and cut into bit-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced celery
- 1/4 cup sliced red onion
- 3 tablespoons toasted sliced almonds
Dressing
- 3 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small clove garlic, minced
- 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 pinch pepper
Directions
- Combine greens, orange, celery, and red onion in a large bowl.
- In a small bowl combine dressing ingredients, Whisk until well blended and drizzle over greens. Toss gently.
- Sprinkle with toasted almonds and serve immediately.
