Ingredients
1 pound small okra (3-inches long or less), about 4 cups
2 tablespoons canola oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4-1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
Directions
Remove stems from okra. Wash okra and dry well before moving to step 2.
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat until quite hot. Add okra and sautéed 3 to 4 minutes until almost crisp-tender.
Add garlic, crushed red pepper and salt. Cook, stirring constantly for about 1 minute. Make sure garlic does not burn. Cooking is done when okra is crisp-tender.
Serve immediately.
