Try a non-traditional twist to traditional sausage and pepper skewers with this sandwich recipe.

 

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. smoked sausage cut into 1" pieces
  • 1 red bell pepper cut into 1" pieces
  • 1 green bell pepper cut into 1" pieces
  • 1 medium red onion cut into 1" pieces
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ Tbsp Italian seasonings
  • 4 slices provolone cheese cut into strips
  • 4 Small hoagie rolls

 

Directions

  1. Toss peppers and onions in olive oil and Italian seasoning
  2. Place on metal skewers and grill on medium about 5 min on each side or until browned.
  3. Place provolone on hoagie roll and top with veggies and sausage from the skewer.
  4. Serve with mustard or Italian dressing.
