This crunchy asian slaw is a simple recipe that anyone can make!

 

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar (or white wine vinegar)

  • 2 teaspoons sugar

  • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds

  • 2 teaspoons reduced-sodium soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper

  • 2 cups Napa cabbage, finely shredded

  • 1/4 cup chopped jicama

  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper

  • 1/4 cup shredded carrot

Directions

  1. In a jar with a tight fitting lid combine vinegar, sugar, sesame seeds, soy sauce, sesame oil and crushed red pepper. Attach lid and shake until combined.
  2. Place remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Pour dressing over vegetables and toss well.

Serves 4.
