A lassi is a traditional Indian drink similar to a fruit smoothie.

 

 

IngredientsFruit lassi in a glass with strawberries next to it.

  • 2 cups strawberries washed, stems removed 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom

  • 1 pinch salt

  • 1 cup non-fat plain yogurt 1 cup ice cubes

Directions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth and frothy.

Yield: 2 servings
