Fresh Tomato Sauce
This fresh tomato sauce is the perfect addition to and pasta or bread!
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cups fresh, ripe tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt or to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, torn
Heat a medium skillet over medium heat. Add olive.
Add tomatoes and salt, simmer 10 minutes. Add basil and remove from heat.
Cover pan tightly and set aside for 30 minutes. Adjust seasoning and serve.
Suggestion: Serve with bread or pasta.
