Buttermilk dressing works great as a dipping sauce or salad dressing, make your own at home using this recipe.

 

 

Ingredients

  • 3/4 to 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon grated garlic

 

Directions

  1. Whisk together buttermilk, sour cream, wine vinegar, mustard, pepper and salt. Stir in chives and garlic. Refrigerate until needed.

 

Yield: 2 cups (16 2-tablespoon servings)
