The Horn Fly Project is an ongoing study of the effectiveness of several brands of insecticidal ear tags.

 

Project Details

Fly counts are taken weekly from five groups of fifteen cattle each. Four groups were treated with different insecticidal ear tags. The fifth group is the control. Fly tags used in this experiment include XP 820, Cygaurd, Corothian and Avenger. For more detailed information over horn flies and types of insecticidal ear tags please go to Horn Fly Project - 2011
