How Do I Log in to my Course?

  1. Go to Professional development and education from OSU Extension
  2. Click Login in the top right corner.
  3. Under Public Login, select Catalog Login.
  4. Enter your registration email and password.
    1. If you don’t know your password, click Forgot Password? to reset it.
  5. Once logged in, click your name in the top right corner.
  6. Select My Courses – your course will appear on the dashboard.

 

For First-Time Users:

  • If you don’t see it, check your Spam/Junk folder. In Gmail, check the Updates tab.
  • If the email is missing, return to the login page and click Forgot Password to reset it.

I Accidentally Entered the Wrong Email Address When I Enrolled. How Can I Fix it?

If you used the wrong email address, you won’t receive the verification email needed to set up your account. To fix this:

 

Email coparenting@okstate.edu and extension.help@okstate.edu with the following information:

  • Your full name
  • The incorrect email address you entered when registering
  • The correct email address you would like us to update it to

 

We will contact IT to request the change, which may take a couple of days. Once updated, you’ll receive a new verification email at the correct address.


I’m Trying to go to the Next Module and it Keeps Saying “Loading.” What Should I Do?

This usually happens if Canvas is waiting for you to complete all requirements in the previous module. Try the following steps:

  1. Go to the Modules page in Canvas.
  2. Check the previous module:
    1. A green circle with a check mark or a grade means the activity is complete.
    2. A “-” symbol or red circle means the activity is incomplete → click the activity name and finish it.
  3. Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom of each activity page. You’ll know it’s complete when you see:
    “Success! You have completed the learning activity.”
  4. Refresh the page or log out and log back in.
  5. Try using a different browser (Chrome or Firefox work best).
  6. Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
  7. If the issue continues, contact Canvas Support (see below).

How Do I Download My Certificate?

  1. Log in at Professional development and education from OSU Extension
  2. Click the arrow next to your name → Student Dashboard.
  3. Open the Completed tab.
  4. Select View/Download Certificate under your course name.

 

Note: Certificates may take up to 24 hours after course completion to appear. If you are in immediate need of your certificate, email us at coparenting@okstate.edu and extension.help@okstate.edu with your full name and registration email and we will reply with your certificate.


My Payment is not Going Through

This usually happens because the address you entered does not match the official address the bank has on file.

 

  1. Look up your address on the USPS Zip Code Look Up site: Postal Office
  2. Try the payment again with the correct address and zip code.
  3. If this doesn’t work, try a different card.
