This collection shall consist of dried and pressed specimens of flowers, stems, leaves and other specified parts of native and/or cultivated agronomic crops. Each complete specimen should be mounted on a separate 8 ½”x11” agronomy herbarium card available by printing on card stock from Oklahoma FFA Association (Under the “Participate” link). All information areas should be completed and enclosed in a notebook or binder. Each specimen should be covered with a transparent plastic or similar covering to protect it from damage. Quality of exhibits, including spelling will be considered. Cards must be dated and numbered. Name, chapter and grade must be included on the inside back cover. Required Table of Contents in the front of the book. Everything (cover, table of contents can be computer generated Except the information on the herbarium cards. The information on the Herbarium Cards must be handwritten in ink.

The top 5 books in each class will be displayed. Only one Agronomic Collection allowed per individual. Exhibit cards in a plain one-inch size hardback notebook for classes 1 & 2 or a plain 2” size hardback notebook for classes 3 & 4 with one FFA emblem and the lettering “FFA Agronomic Herbarium Collection” on the front only.

• Class 1. Grades 7-9 Collection of 10 Specimens with all information collected.
• Class 2. Grade 10 Collection of 15 Specimens with all information collected.
• Class 3. Grade 11 Collection of 20 Specimens with all information collected.
• Class 4. Grade 12 Collection of 25 Specimens with all information collected.
