Robbi Smith
County Extension Director | FCS Educator
About Me
I graduated from Oklahoma Panhandle State University with a bachelor's degree in animal science. As the Texas County Extension Director and Family and Consumer Sciences Educator, I oversee, manage and present a wide variety of programs that are designed to improve the quality of life and economic well-being of individuals, families and communities. I was extensively involved in 4-H growing up in Kansas. I taught FCS classes at Guymon High School where we promoted FCS encouraging students to look into teaching FCS or working as an OSU Extension Educator.
I am from Goodland, Kansas originally but love the amazing sunsets and sunrises the Oklahoma panhandle offers. My husband and I love the outdoors. We enjoy camping, fishing, riding motorcycles, going to the beach and the mountains anytime in between. After becoming a FCS educator I discovered the need for teaching these valuable life skills to not only the students in schools but also continuing to promote that in the community as well. Over the last five years I have developed a strong passion for FCS programs and want to continue it in an OSU Educator role.
