About Me
My career with Extension began as a program assistant in 1993, and I became a home economist in 1994. I am a graduate of McAlester High School (1973), and Oklahoma State University (bachelor’s degree in vocational home economics) in 1976, and hold a master of education degree in guidance and counseling from Northwestern Oklahoma State University (Alva) in 2000.
On a monthly basis, I offer a course called Co-Parenting for Resilience. Other courses I teach include nutrition classes and parenting classes, and I offer leadership development to 4-H youth and other young people. I am especially passionate about working with troubled youth and have developed and designed several educational programs in all program areas during my tenure.
