Paintings, Drawings and other items that are to be hung must have a hanger attached or they may not be displayed.

  • Class 1. Jr. Fine Art: Pencil, charcoal, pastels, chalk, ink

  • Class 4. Sr. Fine Art: Watercolor
  • Class 5. Jr. Fine Art: Oil or acrylic

  • Class 7. Jr. Art Portfolio: Must include at least 5 pieces/pictures of art made by exhibitor – Must be in a 3 ring binder or commercial art portfolio, for added protection youth may utilize page protectors- if art is not available for inclusion photos of art are acceptable. Art Portfolios

  • Class 9. Jr. Creative Writing: Must be original work, no more than 500 words, typed in 12 point font, double spaced. Entry should be placed in a paper folder with brads. Exhibitor name and county should be on the front of the folder.

  • Class 10. Sr. Creative Writing: Must be original work, no more than 500 words, typed in 12 point font, double spaced. Entry should be placed in a paper folder with brads. Exhibitor name and county should be on the front of the folder.

*Note: Puppets may either be entered in Design and Construction (Jr. class 42 or Sr. class 49) or in Paper Craft depending upon medium and criteria.
