About Me

I became an Extension educator because I want to be a part of prevention rather than intervention. Education is key for families to prevent some of the obstacles that arise from doing permanent damage, or at least to help people to be better equipped to handle them so the family does not reach crisis mode. It is my personal mission to educate families and young people in my county so they can lead happy and healthy lives while being contributing members to their communities. I received my bachelor of science degree in family relations and child development, and my master of science degree in human development and family sciences, both from Oklahoma State University.
