About Me
Extension has always been an interest for me. Helping with horticultural issues is something I am passionate about, and I love the excitement that comes from children learning the connection between growing plants and finding insects. I feel honored to share my experiences and mentor others about horticulture, floriculture and entomology.
I am passionate about teaching our youth lifelong skills and educating them about the horticulture industry. In the future, I plan to establish a Junior Master Gardeners Program and increase membership in the Rogers County Master Gardener Program. As the horticulture educator, I am focused on implementing more community programming for both adults and children.
I combine my love for the outdoors with the knowledge and experience I have gained through years of industry experience to build programs that fit the needs of those I serve. Most of my position duties are occupied by horticulture education, but I facilitate related 4-H programs and assist with grant opportunities. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in horticulture with a minor in entomology.
