About Me

I attended Eastern Oklahoma State College and graduated in 2011 with an associate's degree in animal science. I then graduated from Oklahoma State with a bachelor's in plant and soil sciences in 2013, and went on to earn my master's in 2016 also in plant and soil sciences from OSU.

My Extension areas include agricultural sciences, agronomy, soil and weed sciences, gardening and landscape, as well as The Master Gardener Program and private applicator CEU workshops. Additionally, I manage the master cattlemen program, the OSU Stream Hydrology Trailer and present at Meat Goat Boot Camp.

I am from Henryetta, Oklahoma, and grew up helping in my father's veterinary clinic, raising livestock for production and shows. I was involved in our local 4-H and went with my dad to assist with the livestock shows and county fairs. I worked at the Noble Foundation for 5 years before applying to OSU Extension as an agricultural educator. Because I grew up in agriculture and helping others, becoming an educator seemed like the perfect place for me to continue learning and growing in my field of interest.
