About Me
I love working with people of all ages and helping them learn new skills, gain knowledge and find solutions to help them with day-to-day life. I grew up as an active member of 4-H, and that greatly influenced my career path. I started my career with Kansas State University Extension after I graduated from college. After moving back to northeast Oklahoma, I worked in food processing, then taught at a public school for 12 years before starting my career with OSU Extension in April of 2004. I hold a master of technology education degree from Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas; a bachelor of science degree in home economics education and community services from Oklahoma State University; and an associate degree in home economics from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College.
