About Me
I grew up in the small town of Union City, OK where I participated in cheerleading, volleyball, FFA, and many other organizations. Later, I studied agricultural leadership at Oklahoma State University and received my bachelor of science degree in 2012. Although I was not a member of 4-H as a child, I worked as an OSU intern in Canadian County before starting my graduate studies. I studied international agriculture with a focus on Extension education. I had the opportunity to conduct my graduate project in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands, where I researched the diverse ecosystems of the country.
Currently, I live in Oklahoma City with my husband, Sammy, and our dogs, Penelope and Mischa. We are active in our church community and serve youth both locally and internationally. I am especially interested in youth leadership and development, as well as civic engagement. My goal is to empower and build up confident, healthy 4-H'ers in Oklahoma County.
