About Me

My education background is an associate of arts in culinary arts from the University of Arkansas Cossatot, and a bachelor's degree in sports and health sciences from American Military University. My Extension program areas are food preservation, food safety, LEAD (Live Well, Eat Well and Be Active with Diabetes), Stay Strong Stay Healthy, Walk With Ease, Healthy Cooking, Cooking and Baking Classes and nutrition.

Originally from southeast Georgia and the Okefenokee Swamp, I moved southwest Arkansas in college to help family. I currently live on my family's barrel horse farm where I help to breed and raise barrel horses. This allows me the ability to pursue my dreams of professional rodeo and barrel racing, following in my aunt's footsteps. I enjoy telling dad jokes, reading a good book or crafting lariat wreaths. But my most favorite past time is chasing nieces, nephews, and little cousins around the family farm.
