About Me

I studied dance pedagogy at OU and was the owner of my own dance studio in Lawton, Oklahoma for 39 years. I am now teaching nutrition education with OSU Extension which includes educating Marshall and Johnston counties about nutrition programs and providing research-based hands-on learning experiences for families and youth at no cost. Lessons topics include stretching your food dollars, healthy eating, food safety, and exercise tips.

 

I've found that my 4-H friends have a great perspective on the world and working with OSU Extension has given me the opportunity to help Oklahomans improve their health and lifestyles. After teaching dance, nutrition was a great step for me because the nutrition programs have taught me so much about helping others.
