Schedule

NOTE: Exhibitors will be required to wear masks during exhibition and encourage all attendees to do the same!!

Feb. 13th

  • 8am - Goats in place
  • 8:30am - Weigh (All OYE ear tags must be in place)
  • 9:30am - Show Order:  Mkt Wethers, Does, Showmanship
  • 11am - Doe Fitting Contest

Premium Sale Qualifiers and Alternates Pictures must be taken Goats are released after the completion of their class and Sale pictures have been taken.

 

*Goats will be allowed to show out of their trailers, (However exhibitors must be ready to show, we will not wait for exhibitors because they are not penned inside the building)

 

  • 10:30am - Sheep are allowed on the Fairgrounds and pens
    *Sheep are also allowed to show out of their trailers
  • 11am - Weigh cards are Due (this year is different from the past you will turn in your own weights) There will be a 5lb weigh back in class over the top of the weight you has listed if said animal weighs more than the given 5lbs that animal will be disqualified from the show and no longer eligible for the premium sale.
  • 12 noon - Show starts (Order Mkt Wethers, Purebred Ewes, Comm Ewes, Showmanship)

*Purebred Papered Ewes must have turned registration papers into Ext Office by Jan 29th. Premium Sale Qualifiers and Alternates must have picture taken before leaving the Fairgrounds

Feb. 14th

  • 12 noon - Cattle admitted on the Fairgrounds
  • 3pm - Weigh Steers Check Hfr. Papers
  • 5pm - Cattle Fitting Contest

Feb. 15th

  • 8am - Cattle Show Begins. Show Order: Prospect Steers, Mkt Steers, Breeding Heifers, Showmanship. All premium sale qualifiers and alternates must take Pictures after being selected.

Feb. 16th

  • 7am - Swine admitted on the fairgrounds
  • 9:30am - Weigh Cards Turned Into Show Office

*New this year exhibitors weigh there on and there will be a 10lb weigh back over the card. *Light Weights and Heavyweight classes will be checked to make sure min and max weight rules are meet. If any animal weighs above 10 lbs over the weight they have listed on the card that animal will be disqualified from the show an is no longer eligible for the premium sale.

  • 11am - Show (Order: Mkt Barrows, Purebred Gilts, Comm Gilts, Showmanship)

All pictures must be taken of Premium sale qualifiers and Alternates
