Kay County OSU Extension is your place to drop off soil, water and forage samples! 

 

Your Soil, Forage and water samples can be dropped off at regular business hours Monday-Friday (8:00 am - 4:30 pm)

 

Follow these instructions:

  1. Collect your sample (See Video below for tips).  No need to use the official bags, you can bring in each sample in a plastic storage bag or bucket.  Bring us enough dirt to fill 3 coffee mugs.  Bring enough forage to fill 5 coffee mugs.  When in doubt, bring extra of each sample.
  2. When you drop off your sample at the office you can choose what type of tests you would like to do on your sample.
  3. Kay County OSU Extension only takes cash or check payments.
  4. After payment, Kay County OSU Extension will handle the rest and you will have your results in 2 weeks or less.
