About Me

I have been involved in family and consumer sciences my entire career. My personal mission is to bring the best nutrition education programs to my county and create obtainable goals and habits that establish a healthier lifestyle for the community. 

 

Show Me Nutrition is a seven-lesson program aimed at students in grades first through fourth. It teaches important topics such as healthy eating tips, food safety, physical activity and body image. Additionally, I oversee the Fresh Start program, allowing me the opportunity to work with individuals, one on one, in a home environment.

 

My educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in home economics from Oklahoma University. From day one, I have had a passion to help others, and working at an Oklahoma State University Extension office enables me to do what I love.
