About Me
I have been with the OSU Extension since July 2011 and have lived in Greer County for 12 years now. I enjoy working with the citizens of my husband’s home county. My love for the organization called Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) led me to a career in family and consumer sciences. I genuinely credit my grandmother, Katherine Flowers, and my three home economics teachers, Kathryn Soloman, Judy Carlisle and Nelda Hunkapillar, for instilling my love for family and consumer sciences. These four influential women showed me how awesome it is to #SayYestoFCS.
I graduated from Broken Bow High School and received my Bachelor of Science degree from East Central University. I taught high school Family and Consumer Science classes for 19 years before joining OSU Extension.
