About Me
Agriculture is my passion. After growing up learning how to farm and ranch my entire life, I received a bachelor’s degree in agriculture economics from Oklahoma State University. I want nothing more than to serve as an advocate for agriculture and provide Extension education to the youth of today and those seeking our expertise.
One of the partnerships we offer is with the Library Association and the Garvin County Heathy Living Program; we host a weeklong summer reading program and facilitate a backyard farming series, which presents healthy living and agriculture classes for the urban community. The course teaches participants how to farm their small spaces. We offer a strong Cattlemen’s Association for beef and forage production and provide a horticulture program that hosts an annual Garden Zest event for the people of McClain and Cleveland Counties, as well as Mid America Technology Center. Another touchmark program of our office is 4-H, which focuses on livestock, meat judging and land judging.
We organize monthly county events and activities for everyone to enjoy, and I’m proud to lead many of these initiatives.
