Stockshow Program
The Dewey County Stockshow Program is an annual event that showcases livestock, and agricultural projects to support community engagement and agricultural education. View the 2025 Stockshow schedule below.
Saturday, February 8th
5-8 p.m.: Goat weigh in
Sunday, February 9th
- 7-8 a.m.: Finish goat weigh in
- 8-8:30 a.m.: Weigh and classify sheep
- 8:30-9 a.m.: Doe fitting contest
- 11 a.m.: Church service - Ray Perryman followed by complimentary lunch served until 1:00 p.m.
- 1 p.m.: Lamb lead contest
- 2:30 p.m.: Goat show sheep show
- 3 p.m.: Ag mechanics exhibits in place
- 6-8 p.m.: Swine weigh in
Monday, February 10th
- 7-8 a.m.: Complete swine weigh in
- 9 a.m.: 4-H food show
- 10 a.m.: Ag mechanics contest judging
- 10 a.m.: Swine show
- 5-8 p.m.: Check in heifer papers mattle weigh in
- 6:30 p.m.: Cattle fitting contest
Tuesday, February 11th
- 7-8 a.m.: Complete cattle weigh in
- 9 a.m.: Heifer show prospect steer show market steer show
- 5 p.m.: Exhibitors, parents and supporters’ banquet
- 6:30 p.m.: Presentation of awards premium auction
All species released at the conclusion of that show.
