About Me
Helping improve the health and quality of life for youth and adults is the driving force behind my mission as a Nutrition Education Assistant. I work with all age groups from children to adults, as well as pregnant and parenting teens. My goal is to help them gain knowledge and equip them with skills in nutrition and parenting that can lead to a better quality of life not only for themselves, but for their families, too. I enjoy working with families at risk to help improve their situations and promote resilience.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in human development and family sciences from OSU-Tulsa. In addition, I hold a nursing degree from Glendale Community College and an associate degree in human development and family sciences from Tulsa Community College. My educational background helped form my specialties in working with at-risk and low-income families, as well as parenting teens.
