About Me
My personal mission is to serve residents of my community by providing quality education. I especially enjoy working with Oklahoma Home and Community Education (OHCE) members, who follow the creed, “The family should come first in the life of the individual, community and the nation.”
I fell in love with Extension during college when I held a summer job at the Craig County office with then-educator Joyce Martin. I have been an FCS/4-H educator since 2001 and have been the county director for a majority of that time. My work with students includes summer camp workshops and tours of museums and businesses. Adult courses that cover topics such as co-parenting and senior nutrition also have been popular.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in science from Oklahoma State University; my major was home economics with a minor in fashion merchandising.
