About Me

I have always considered myself a people person. Whether it is catching up with old friends or meeting someone for the first time, I have always found joy working with people, especially when it means getting to help others. My job as an NEA allows me to both work with and help people.


Many of the classes I teach are based off the MyPlate curriculum. I talk to my clients about things such as planning dinner options, shopping the best for less, making smart drink choices, eating more fruits and vegetables, stretching food dollars and exercising throughout the day. Additionally, students learn about food safety and how to read food labels.


While I work hard to give our youth the tools they need to incorporate healthy choices in their life, we make sure to have a lot of fun doing it.
