1-1/2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/2 pound sweet onions, peeled and cut into wedges
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Heat a large skillet on medium-high heat. Add olive oil, butter and brown sugar. When butter is melted add onions and sauté 2 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add vinegar and continue sautéing 10 minutes or until onions are golden brown.
