Public open hours with live bugs are every 1st and 3rd Thursday from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 1st and 3rd Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Horticulture Education Center (the building at the southern entrance) at The Botanic Garden, 3300 W 6th Ave, Stillwater, OK 74074.

Experience Insect Adventure

Looking for an unforgettable and unique educational experience for your youth? Plan a visit to Insect Adventure! OSU Extension has the only live bug petting zoo in the state. This presentation comes with more than 25 species of living arthropods as well as a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and entertaining professional entomologist to walk you through your arthropod exploration and handling. Come hold an Emperor scorpion, pet a walkingstick, or race termites!
